For times when you and/or the watch are in another country, in order for the watch to recognise the preset numbers as approved numbers when calling the watch, you add the International prefix when setting your contact numbers such as +44 or +353 and your phone number.

You can call the watch by pressing the Call button in our App or by dialing the watches mobile number from your mobile number or another pre-set number. The Call button on located on the top of the location map screen between the Live and History button.

The sim card number has 3 more digits than a standard mobile number with the International codes, i.e. + and 15 digits.

Location

The Liberty watch comes with a European ‘always roaming’ sim card with a Spanish mobile number which, unlike standard sim cards, will always use the strongest mobile network that the watch is located in, not just the network of the sim card provider, so the watch will get the best network coverage available for that area.  As our Liberty watch is a SOS Location device, this is a key feature.

In addition this also provides the great benefit of no roaming charges anywhere within 31 European Countries,

All calls to the sim card from outside Spain will be charged by your mobile/landline operator at their tariff for calling Spain.  As the device is not intended for long communications, the cost of calling the device should not be significant for general use.

Some mobile operators let you add low rate international calls for no additional charge or for a nominal charge, but you must contact them and Opt in. Check with your mobile operator as it varies from operator to operator.

With one short press of the call button, the display on the watch will light up, one more short press and the first phone number will be displayed. With each short press the next number be displayed. When the number you wish to call is displayed, press and hold the call button for 3 seconds until you see “calling” appear on screen.
